Changed brake pedal characteristics

Concerns:
All vehicles with I-Shift (variant AT2412C, AT2412D, AT2512C and AT2612D) and with
EBS ECU p/n 21375989 or p/n 21726226.

Problem:
The brake pedal gives the feeling that higher forces are required to slow or stop the
vehicle from what has previously been experienced with EBS. This feeling is only a
perception, however it can make it more difficult to stop the vehicle at a precise position.

Action:
To improve the brake pedal characteristics:
1 Request E-code E1910 through ARGUS.

Note: This E-code download must not be performed preventively. To activate the
E-code for a specific vehicle, please register an ARGUS Service Request at the
dealer portal and refer to this Service Tip. Attach a job card in the Service Request
with the fault codes concerned. Reloads without use of E-code is not allowed on
warranty without approval from the Market Company/Importer.
2 Test the vehicle to see if the software solves the problem.

Labour time:
Calculated time for this method is 0.2 hours.

Note: The lifetime of a service tip is normally very limited. Therefore, always check
so the method in this service tip still is valid. Pay special attention if the service tip is
older than six months or more.
