    RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

    Materials

    Large Metal Pot

    Access to Stove and Water

    Duct Tape

    Old Window Screen

    Wastepaper

    Sponges

    Plastic Bucket

    Soda Ash

    Plastic Tub

    Blender

    Knife
    Procedures

    The researchers harvested stems and cut the okra into pieces. After that, the

    researchers added baking soda and water, and boiled it from three to four hours to make

    pulp. Then, we filled the blender with ¼ full of pulp, ¼ water and 10 1x6 inch

    wastepaper. We made a simple mold consisting of the blended substance. To make the

    paper, the researchers held the frame vertically, lowered it into the water, and lift the

    frame out of the paper. After that, we dried the paper.

    Materials Pure okra stem Okra stem with wastepaper

    Okra stems 30 (approx. 10 inch.) 30 (approx. 10 inch)

    Baking Soda 16 grams 16 grams

    Water 1.5 liter 1.5 liter

    Pulp 50 mL. 50 mL.
