A BATTLECORPS EXCLUSIVE UNIT DIGEST


introduction
A BattleCorps Unit Digest is a gameplay aid designed to offer
players a glimpse into one of the myriad unnamed and un-
known national-and-smaller level military units in the Inner
Sphere. Products such as the Field Manuals and Field Reports
offer playable game notes and information about the front-
line regiments of each nation of the Inner Sphere, Clans, and
Periphery, but for each of those regiments there are a hundred
or more conventional, non-BattleMech battalions working for
no higher power than a planetary duke or corporate security
force.
Each of the units found in these small PDF exclusives is too
small to ever be in the pages of Field Manual. Each of them
may have been coopted or destroyed the day after the report
was compiled. Perhaps they were absorbed into the mainline

military; perhaps they lost their funding and were disbanded;

tleCorps, please note that the era icon and a year will appear in
each one. The unit listed existed during that era and specific
year, and may or may not have existed before or after. Unless TM

362nd Confederation Air Regiment


The 362nd is a conventional fighter regiment tasked with protecting New Roland from pirates and raiders. Despite the aircraft
they fly, the 362nd consider themselves the equal of any other Capellan unit.
Based near the four main cities on New Roland, the four wings of the 362nd see more action then most of their brethren on
other Confederation planets, even with the Jihad raging though the Inner Sphere. The CCAF tends to station front-line units on
New Roland infrequently, meaning that the bulk of any defense falls to the local garrison, including the 362nd.
Each wing consists of three squadrons and a command triple of Inseki II heavy strike fighters acting a a reserve. Almost all
the pilots are native to New Roland and know the planet well. The regiment specializes in bombing and ground strike missions,

No one is sure how someone as talented as Tenjio ended up
as a member of the 362nd. While she has been with the regi-
ment less then a year, she has risen to command one of the
1749th’s squadrons and has shown a talent for ground attacks
that borders on the uncanny. Outside of the cockpit, she tends
to stay in the background, running her squadron with quiet
efficiency.

Tenjio is a Veteran-level air vehicle pilot with +2 Leadership
and +2 Tactics/Air. She has a +5 TP Natural Aptitude/Piloting/
Air vehicle Trait. While making an air-to-ground attack, she re-
ceive an additional –1 To-hit modifier against all non-airborne
units, in addition to the special combat ability of the 1749th.
