DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION AND VENDING

AIM
The project aims to create a digital platform for Distribution and
Vending.

OBJECTIVES
1. To know about the understanding of MIS as a field of study
and as a field of business.
2. To get connected with the customers with the help of the
application that we have created.
3. To reduce the unnecessary market expenditure.
4. To increase the sales of our product using MIS.
5. To reduce the burden of the retailers and vendors.
6. To do all the transactions online using E-wallet.

Business Overview:

Problem statement for retailers:

1. The determination of shortage of stock is very time


consuming and very exhausting process.
2. The determination of shortage of variety is also very
time consuming and exhausting process.
3. When the stock is running out, the retailer has to place
the order with the company again and again.
Problem statement for vendors:

1. They don’t have the exact idea about the location of


the potential customers.
2. They have to roam around the city looking for
customers.

Problem statement for customers:

1. Non-availability of the exact location of the vendor at


any particular time.
2. No direct contact between the customers and major
suppliers when the customer wants to place a big order.

Our Solution:

We are developing an application that is available to all the


3 entities i.e. Retailers, Vendors and the Customers. Now,
the boxes and crates of ice cream come with a QR CODE
which when scanned will be automatically updated in the
respective accounts of the retailers, vendors and the
customers.
We will decide the basic stock ratio for a particular retailer
according to the demand of that particular area. Now when
the retailer is running out of stock we will automatically get
notified about the needs of that particular retailer and act
upon it as soon as possible.
