Hi, I'm trying to debrik the GL-Mini 4G router, but it seems that
the procedure doesn't work. I'm pressing the reset button and
the switching on the router. The led under 3g/4g is blinking 10
times. On my pc there is 192.168.1.2/24 as IP address but I
can't connect to the router. Where I'm doing wrong ?

On one of my MT300A I could no longer connect to 192.168.1.1
after holding the reset button (it used to work), I connected a
serial cable to the board, at baudrate 115200 (or other lower
speed) it gave me all those strange characters
"5녅", is this board totally dead?

reply to my own post, the problem is that my serial port
cable is bad, after changing it the serial port works now.
sorry for the noise.

Hello,

It seems I bricked my AR300m. :-(

I used uboot to update the firmware. Unfortunately, instead of
the img file I uploaded
the tar file. After that the router still booted with Nor and I had
access to it. So now I tried to update with the correct img file.
Since
then nothing works anymore. I still can boot into the uboot
mode.
However, none of the updates works....

Any idea what I can do to fix the issue???

When did you bought this? If it is broken then reflash
generally solve the problem. So you tried multiple times
and cannot solve, pls contact customer service.

It is from last year.
Actually, I could finally solve the problem. I
updated the nor firmware instead of the nand
firmware this time with uboot. After trying to
connect by three times in the browser the nor
version came up and I updated the nor firmware
again by uploading it inside of the browser
application. At the end it asked for a reboot and
then the nand version came up automatically
again. Great product! :-)

Are you doing the same? For AR150, when you want to
enter uboot web failsafe. Please note, when the LED
flash 5 times and another LED light up, release your
finger.

Hello,

I obviously bricked my GL-AR750 and run into failures when

trying to follow your procedure.

I'm pressing the reset (power-symbol) button and powering the

device.

Then all 3 LED flash up very briefly. The Power-LED remains on

while 2G starts flashing for 5 times. 5G remains off.

My PC is set to IP address 192.168.1.2 and I can connect to the

device with Firefox on 192.168.1.1.

I select the downloaded Image "lede-ar750-2.272.bin" from

http://download.gl-inet.com.... But when I press the "Update nor
firmware" button Firefox is giving me a "Connection Interrupted"
error. So I never see the progress-interface as shown on the u-
boot tutorial here: https://github.com/pepe2k/u.... The power-
LED remains on, while the 2G-LED is turned off, the moment I
press the upload-button.
