n behalf of The Auckland Times and all staff, may
I wish you a Happy Diwali and a Prosperous New
Year. It has been a privilege to bring you news and
views during the past year, since our last Diwali
issue of 2016. Our aim is always to share matters that affect
us as a community. We try to cover each festival and Diwali
is that special season when people want to share something
- food, news, good times with one another and participate in
religious services, in temples and at home. I am very grateful
to so many people who have sent messages that are printed
in this edition. As well as that, we have tried to bring brief
snippets of interesting aspects that remind everyone of Diwali
traditions and our rich heritage. A Happy Diwali Season to one
and all, we hope you enjoy this Special Diwali Edition as much KESHWAN NAIR
as we have putting it together for our readers and advertisers. (Director)
