PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION: THE BASICS

Regardless of the size of the company, at some point in the entrepreneurial

process we will find that we must transport our product, we must achieve a balance
between the time of delivery vs. the logistics expenses and the satisfaction of the
final customer.

Choosing your mode of transport:

The choice of the mode of transport is linked to what type of product I am going to
market and that it is not the same to transport something perishable to transport for
example an object, the same happens if it is something dangerous, we must inform
about the danger of this, in the In case of delicate products sent by sea, it should
be considered to ensure them, since in the salt the salt causes them to deteriorate
faster.

If the load is of high value, a tracking system should be considered for greater
safety, at this point we can say that much of the responsibility lies with the supplier
who is responsible for packaging the product to be transported well,

this will reduce the risk of damage.

Choosing the method of transport depends a lot on the urgency in which I need to
deliver the package, if I want to transport by road I should know that this means is
not friendly to the environment, the railway method outside that is friendly to the
environment is fast .

Sea transport is cheap but slow, it is also not very flexible

the transport by plane is fast but it is not friendly with the environment due to its
high consumption of gasolina.
