AN AWESOME DAY WITH FRIENDS

One day, Florencio and his friends decided going to the Maule river. Before coming to that place,
my mom told me "you have to be careful with the highway with those kids because you might have
an accident”, Ok mother I said, and I started selecting the things to spend an awesome day with my
friends. After that, I met with my friends near Varoli´s bridge and we started our trip to the river,
and 20 minutes later we saw some girls near Los Ganaderos restaurant and the boys asked me to
invite them to the river and have some fun there. Then, I talked with Andrea about the trip we had
and she told me that it could be a good idea, so the girls took their schoolbags and sat in the bike´s
rack of the boys who were with me. Besides, those people started putting reggaeton in the speaker
Andrea had in Juancho´s bike and everyone sang happy during the trip. Secondly, we arrived at the
river and we could find an excellent place in which we had the chance to do activities like swimming,
drinking, and eating. On the other hand, my friends started telling me "You should go to the river
shore and swim with us" but I never listened to them because I was talking with Andrea about things
we loved to do. After this moment, Jorge and Ruperto took my legs and threw me into the river and
everybody there laughed at me, then I got out of the water and I took Andrea to the river and we
could swim with the rest of the people there. Moreover, we played volleyball and the boys won the
match against ladies, then women sat in the men´s shoulders and started fighting, 10 minutes later
Rosalia fell from Floriponcio´s shoulders and all people laughed at her, also she laughed at herself
too since it was a funny moment lived with the new friends made in Los Ganaderos restaurant.
When the sunset came, the boys and girls got out of the river and they changed their items of
clothes, then clean the place and order the things to go home. Some minutes later, the boys started
riding the bikes in the highway and saw a signal which said “ You must not pass with your bikes
there, please take another way”, and I used Waze to find another road to go to Talca, but Floriponcio
found a good road and we could continue our trip. Before coming to the women´s houses, my
friends and I asked them the cellphone numbers to be in touch in case of doing other activities,
those girls gave us the number. Also, those girls arrived at their houses without problems. Next, the
boys came to their houses and when I arrived at home, my mother was waiting for me with some
sopaipillas and pebre and said to me” Dear Son: What was your day? I said it was an awesome day
mom with my friends since we had the opportunity to meet new girls and spent a great time with
them in the river. Finally, I went to bed at midnight and I surfed on the net when I found a phrase
“If you want to have a good day, you should travel to other places and get excellent experiences
with others”, and this thing remembered me the awesome day I had with my friends during the day.
That´s why I put that phrase in my WhatsApp profile, and some minutes later I started to sleep
because I was tired.

Traducción: Un día, Florencio y sus amigos decidieron ir al río Maule. Antes de venir a ese lugar,
mi mamá me dijo "debes tener cuidado con la carretera con esos niños porque podrías tener un
accidente", Ok madre le dije, y empecé a seleccionar las cosas para pasar un día increíble con mis
amigos. Después de eso, me reuní con mis amigos cerca del puente Varoli y comenzamos nuestro
viaje al río, y 20 minutos después vimos algunas chicas cerca del restaurante Los Ganaderos y los
chicos me pidieron que las invitara al río y que me divirtiera un poco allí. Luego, hablé con Andrea
sobre el viaje que tuvimos y me dijo que podría ser una buena idea, así que las niñas tomaron sus
mochilas y se sentaron en la parrilla de la bicicleta de los niños que estaban conmigo. Además, esas
personas empezaron a poner reggaeton en el altavoz que Andrea tenía en la bici de Juancho y todos
cantaron felices durante el viaje. En segundo lugar, llegamos al río y pudimos encontrar un lugar
excelente en el que tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer actividades como nadar, beber y comer. Por
otro lado, mis amigos empezaron a decirme "Deberías ir a la orilla del río y nadar con nosotros",
pero nunca los escuché porque estaba hablando con Andrea sobre cosas que nos gustaban hacer.
Después de este momento, Jorge y Ruperto tomaron mis piernas y me tiraron al río y todos se rieron
de mí, luego salí del agua y llevé a Andrea al río y pudimos nadar con el resto de la gente allí. Además,
jugamos voleibol y los chicos ganaron el partido contra las damas, luego las mujeres se sentaron en
los hombros de los chicos y empezaron a pelear, 10 minutos después Rosalía se cayó de los hombros
de Floriponcio y todos se rieron de ella, también ella se rió de sí misma ya que fue un momento
divertido convivir con los nuevos amigos del restaurante Los Ganaderos. Cuando llegó el atardecer,
los niños y niñas salieron del río y se cambiaron de ropa, luego limpiaron el lugar y ordenaron las
cosas para ir a casa. Unos minutos después, los chicos empezaron a andar en bicicleta en la carretera
y vieron una señal que decía: "No deben pasar con sus bicicletas allí, por favor tomen otro camino",
y yo usé Waze para encontrar otro camino para ir a Talca, pero Floriponcio encontró un buen camino
y pudimos continuar nuestro viaje. Antes de venir a dejarlas a sus casas, mis amigos y yo les pedimos
los números de teléfono para estar en contacto en caso de hacer otras actividades, esas chicas nos
dieron el número. Además, esas chicas llegaron a sus casas sin problemas. Luego, los niños se fueron
a sus casas y cuando llegué a casa, mi madre me estaba esperando con unas sopaipillas y un pebre
y me dijo: "Querido hijo: ¿Cómo estuvo tu día? Dije que fue un día increíble para mi mamá con mis
amigos, ya que tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer chicas nuevas y pasar un buen rato con ellas en
el río. Finalmente, me acosté a medianoche y navegué en la red cuando encontré una frase "Si
quieres tener un buen día, debes viajar a otros lugares y tener excelentes experiencias con los
demás", y esto me recordó el increíble día que tuve con mis amigos durante el día. Es por eso que
puse esa frase en mi perfil de WhatsApp, y unos minutos más tarde empecé a dormir porque estaba
cansado.
