BLOOD TIES

Bart had just returned after playing a lot of football and was covered in muck. But he had a
gush of satisfaction in his little innocent face even after losing the match. Bart was a boy of ten
with innocent face looking baby face. His mom and dad were proud of him because he had
inherited his mother’s curly chestnut colored hair and his dad’s sea blue almond shaped eyes.
Apparently his parents had another reason to rejoice because his elder sister, Cheyenne had
just passed out from the piano school in the neighborhood. His sister was a prodigy and quickly
grasped all the lessons within a blink of eye. Now was about to give her first solo performance
on stage this coming weekend. He always shared a great shared a great and deep relation with
his sister. As soon as he entered her room, he saw her deeply engrossed in her piano in her
piano practice. He was astonished to see her working so hard. He sat on the edge of the bed
observing the amount of hard work she was putting in .after an hour or two she decided to take
a brake she noticed, Bart sitting on her bed waiting for to finish her practice. he approved her
understanding for the musical notes with a thumbs up. She giggled gleefully. As soon as the
clock struck 10 their mother came and tucked both of them in their beds and kissed their
foreheads.

Finally the big day arrived, Bart was looking his best in his three piece suit. He was jumping like
a frog to see his sister’s performance. As soon as he entered the hall he was blinded by the
bright lighting there. The swells of the society had come to see Cheyenne’s performance. How
delighted he felt! soon the lights dimmed he quietly took his seat and saw his sister bowing
toward the audience .After a hour of soothing music played by his sister he saw everybody
standing and clapping .he clapped the loudest amongst all the feeble claps . A lady remarked
that he must have really enjoyed the performance. His mother non chalantly replied that he
cannot hear and he is deaf.
