    What is the World Wide Web?
    The World Wide Web (www) is basically known as The Web. It is an online network system that
    has information, data, facts and figures about different topics and resources. They are identified
    by Uniform Resources Locator (URL, such as http://www.google.com/) which may be
    interlinked through hyperlink system and are being accessed over the internet (via the web
    browser).

    How does it facilitate in networking.


    The functions of the World Wide Web are to connect PCs all over the world to share data and
    communicate with each other which includes calling, knowledge sharing and entertainment.

    Beyond that, there are information types - text, images, audio, and video.
