1. What is the most common form and nature of entrepreneurial venture in your community?

Based on my work, the most common form of entrepreneurial venture in my community is the
sole proprietorship. On the other hand, the most common nature of entrepreneurial venture in my
community hybrid business which possesses characteristics and nature of combined types of
business entities.

2. What do you think is the probable reason?

Based on what I’ve observe here in my community, people are very diligent and hard-working
as the same time they were very resourceful that’s why I think it is the reason why they choose to
have a sole proprietorship and build a hybrid business for a easy and convenient growth. The
tourism of Mauban, Quezon can be also a reason why sole proprietorship and hybrid business are
the most common forms and nature of entrepreneurial venture because Mauban is known for its
beautiful sceneries that many tourist go for. So the people here in Mauban built businesses for
tourist to fulfill their wants.
