The Industrial Products Division (IPD) group in Asia Pacific held a one-week product launch

event last month at the Innovation Center in Shanghai, China. In addition to showcasing the new
IPD products, participants were provided in-depth training related to their business area. Training
tracks were designed to support sales and technical service teams, distributor channel partners
and OEM end-user customers and material suppliers.
"China's market is facing unprecedented uncertainty with a slowing economy and global trade
tension. In these uncertain times, we need to dig for new opportunities," said James Lyon, Vice
President, Asia Pacific IPD Sales & Marketing and Managing Director, Southeast Asia. "Today,
we must have direct promotion through tech days and demos to create demand for Graco new
products. This means that all of us need to engage with end-user, understand their pain points
and deliver Graco-centric solutions." More than 80 distributors and 55 end-user customers
attended. Thank you to the AP team for their planning and execution and thank you to the U.S.
trainers for providing support and collaboration on training and product development.
