My goal is to obtain a job at the highly esteemed Dayton Children’s Hospital as a registered
dietitian. I want to build valuable experience in the rigorous inpatient setting with opportunities

• Counseled high school runners on the importance of sports nutrition and proper recovery
by leading a sports nutrition presentation. Carried out camp counselor role for 3 camps,
each 7 days long.

Dayton Children’s Hospital Volunteer, Dayton Ohio September 2018- Present
• Volunteer at the Health Way Program, a community nutrition program to provide
nutrition education to both children and adults in the Dayton community
• Contact participants on Wednesday before the class to remind them of the program
• Assist the nutrition educator during the educational and cooking portion of class

• Independent research credit with Professor Parkinson on eating patterns and eating
behaviors in female endurance runners
• Independent study research credit involving duties of a literature review on published
research, and a presentation on findings at the nutrition conference.
