The welfare of the student is an essential concern of every faculty


member. Hence attendance of students is regularly checked and
recorded.

Indicated in the Faculty Manual, the faculty can make more


effective and fruitful by checking attendance in his class
every school day and recording a student’s absence.

Classroom are well-lighted and air conditioned making the room


conductive for learning. Lecture rooms have whiteboards,

to the number of students per class.

The subject, Practicum in International Studies, provides


International Studies students with off campus apprenticeship in
the office setting. Individual performance is monitored by the

The evaluation tool more objective method of scoring; specific


criteria are identified and the students are evaluated only on
those criteria. Students can often be involved in the creation of a
rubric and other test measurement in order to have a say in what
they believe to be the most important aspects of a given class
activity; this can help with student motivation and investment.

Students are oriented on how they are graded. The course syllabi and
student handbook include the computation of class standing and
final grade. This ensures fairness is maintained and helps the
students to become aware of what is being assessed.
