supplied by Saint Gobain India Pvt. Ltd – Glass Business, for Cognizant Technology
Solutions India Pvt Ltd project at ELCOT , Sholinganallur , Chennai .

With reference to the PO received from M/s Om Sai Intex Pvt Ltd.,for supply of 6mm Solar
Yellow of 9.16 Sq. mts. approximately is made from specially selected annealed glass and
conforms to the following standards.

Our glass contains 12% of post industrial recycled content and 6% of post consumer recycled
content. Our factory is in Chennai & it is 47 kms from Cognizant Technology Solutions .

Environment Friendly
 The Lacquer used is Lead Free, Arsenic Free, Copper Free and Formaldehyde Free

Tolerance on thickness
Tolerances are the same as for float glass:
 Standard range thickness: 4 and 6mm : +/- 0.2 mm.
 Non standard range: 3, 5mm : +/- 0.2 mm.
 8, 10 mm : +/- 0.3 mm.

Physical properties
Compressive strength and Tensile strength
 As for float glass of the same thickness: 1,000 N/mm2 = 1,000 MPa.
 As for float glass of the same thickness = 40 MPa (N/mm2).

Product Quality
The SGG PLANILUX and SGG DIAMANT substrate glasses, used for the manufacture of
SGG PLANILAQUEEVOLUTION, conform to Standard BS EN 572 1995 parts 1 and 2:
Glass in Building – Basic soda lime silicate glass products.
