Containers Glass packaging’s strict adherence to quality control procedures, strong in

house R&D and continuous innovation has enabled it to produce all types of light weight
bottles; being the demand of the modern times. The pharmaceutical glass containers
manufacturing plants of Ghani were the first to implement GMP standards (good
manufacturing practices) which is the basic requirement of all pharmaceutical companies of
the region. All glass containers being manufactured are in strict adherence to internationally
renowned manufacturing standards and procedures for quality management, food safety
management, good manufacturing practices, supplier guiding principles and environment
control. Nonetheless, Ghani is the pioneer to implement the first ever Class 100,000 Clean
Room facility and automatic shrink wrap packaging for pharmaceutical glass containers.

Float glass manufacturing facility is amongst the pioneer facility of Pakistan. Complete
engineering, procurement and construction of the project is done by Ghani and the facility
was set up and commissioned in just 14 months, while the commercial production from
draw was achieved only in 4 days. GGL’s float plant is producing high quality glass in
thicknesses from 2 mm to 19 mm as per ASTM standards. Along with production of clear
float glass; green, brown, blue, ocean blue, grey float glasses and reflective coated variants
are also being currently developed and produced. With Ghani’s quality, the import of float
glass into Pakistan has almost ceased now thus generating a lot of opportunities locally and
is a source of earning foreign exchange for the country.

Commitment to quality and customer care has enabled the company to achieve dominant
market shares in Pakistan with pharmaceutical glass containers share at 86% and foods &
beverages glass containers share at 73% and float glass share at 71%. The quality

Production Facility

Ghani Glass has taken the lead to establish Pakistan’s first state of the art float glass plants
based on TECO technology and design. (Toledo Engineering Company Ohio, USA) the
world’s leading company for float glass plant designing. The float glass production facility is
located at 29 kms Lahore-Sheikhupura road with a covered area of 400,000 square feet
spread on 25 acres (approx. 1.1 million square feet) of land. This facility comprises of state
of the art 2 float lines. Their combined production capacity is 1,000 tons per day.

Ghani’s float lines produce 100% clear, bubbles and distortion free glass ready after being
cut into required size and ready to be taken to the ware houses. The plants are producing
float glass of various thicknesses ranging from 2mm to 19mm.

The plants have their own two power generation plants and focus on concern for
environment. Therefore, they have all the relevant certification of ISO and other operative
standards, including certification for being environment friendly. The plants are smoke
emission free plants.

Two full fledged nitrogen processing plants are based at Ghani Glass Limited. They have
the capacity to produce ample nitrogen gas, used during tin bath of the float glass to make it
oxide free, so as to facilitate bubble/distortion free production of world class quality float
glass.
The plants are equipped with automatic and virtually intelligent digital control systems
(DCS) facility that ensures error free production of extremely high quality grade glass.

Ghani Tempered Glass

5 Times Stronger Glass – Tempered glass is a direct outcome of industrial revolution.

Ghani Value Glass left no stone unturned to revolutionize the life in Pakistan. At Ghani
Value Glass, the latest machines of the world have taken place to meet the growing needs
of the day. Tempered glass is more heat resistant and scratch resistant than non-treated
glass. Outwardly tempered glass does not appear any different than standard glass. Both
types of glass are made in varying sizes and thicknesses and can be colored or tinted.
Ghani Value Glass’s toughened glass is physically and thermally stems stronger than
regular glass. The color, clarity, chemical composition and light transmission characteristics
of it remains unchanged after tempering. Tempering does not reduce glass deflection under
load. It breaks into small fragments less likely to cause any injury. Ghani tampered safety

locations and quantities of holes in tempered glass are governed by ASTM C1048

Ghani Double Glazed Glass

Sound & Temperature Control – Ghani Double Glazed Glass is another giant leap of
science and technology towards the paradigm of human comfort and luxury. Ghani Value
Glass being dedicated to its mission statement “to achieve and maintain the highest
standard of product quality and ultimate customer’s satisfaction” that carries out operations
of double glazed glass on state of the art machines. Ghani Value Glass double glazing
machine is fully automatic. Double glazing also known as insulated glazing are double or
triple glass window panes separated by air or other gas (argon) filled space to reduce heat
transfer across a part of the building envelope. Glass in windows is used to provide light
and allow a view from either side to the other side. The importance to the construction is its
dimensional stability over a wide temperature range. Ghani Double Glazed Glass units are
manufactured with glass in range of thickness from 2mm to 19mm or more in special
applications. Laminated or tempered glass may also be used as a part of the construction.
Most units are manufactured with the same thickness of glass used on both panes (citation
needed) but special applications such as acoustic attenuation or security may require wide
range of thicknesses to be incorporated in the same unit. New technology has emerged at

foam spacers.

Ghani Aluminum Mirror is produced through horizontal production line which is the most
advanced production equipment for coating aluminum mirror. Our aluminum mirror is best
quality in Pakistan. That is suitable for any processed and edge working, such as:
decorative mirror, furniture mirror, art mirror, bathroom mirror, beveled mirror, shape
mirror…framed mirror, shelf mirror, dressing mirror, cosmetic mirror, hotel mirror, mosaic
