world and it needed packaging for a component of their
telecom equipment. ESD, humidity, and shocks were the
main concerns in this specific application.

The Nefab Solution

Nefab is the preferred global supplier of packaging material
to Ericsson. The solution was a joint effort between
Ericsson and Nefab engineers. The packaging consists of a
corrugated box, ESD-protective cushioning and a barrier
for protection from both ESD and humidity. Desiccants
inside the packaging provide extra protection from
humidity.
