PROCESS FLOW FOR THE EVALUATION & PROCESSING

OF MANUAL IMPORT CLEARANCE (ONE-TIME IMPORTATION)

STEP 1
Receive documents and evaluate the
application and check if already
allowed for importation based on the
country of origin

STEP 2
If the commodity has not been
previously imported from the country of
origin, Pest Risk Analysis (PRA) will be
the initial process before importation.
STEP 2
If the commodity has been previously
imported from the country of origin.
Application with complete reqt’s will
be processed.

Additional Guidelines:
For plants and planting materials, the area for planting or the final destination must be inspected
before the issuance of the import clearance.

For other low-risk products, processing of the import clearance will be proceeded as long as the
requirements are met.

Import Requirements:
1. Letter of Intent addressed to OIC-Director, GEORGE Y. CULASTE and OIC-Chief, ANDRES L.
ALEMANIA
2. BPI APPLICATION FORM NO. 01
3. Location Map of the Final Destination
4. Xerox Copy of 1 Valid ID and Barangay Clearance
5. Inspection of the Final Destination
6. 300.00 processing fee (after inspection report has been submitted)
***For Commodities for Research:
Applicant must also attached brief methodology, expected output with complete outline of the
experiment.
