When changing the driving system of the magnetron from the constant-current to the constant-voltage, re-
place the pulse transformer and the MD board with referring to this instruction and the service manual
(Ref. No.: SME-35190-*).
Use the check sheet on the page 6 to confirm all required steps of the installation are completed.
Note: When replacing from 03P9244J to 03P9244K, refer to technical information (T3-2018-005).

1. How to replace the pulse transformer (RT-9023 to RT-9023A)

4. After removing the cover, de-solder the pulse transformer (RT-9023) and remove the magnetron and
diode See “a” in Figure-B.
5. De-solder resistor R801 and remove the diode See “b” in Figure-B.
6. Unfasten the washer head screw (M3x8, 1 pc.) attached to R801, then remove R801 See “c” in Fig-
ure-B.
7. Unfasten the washer head screws (M4x8, 4 pcs.) attached to RT-9023, then remove RT-9023 See
“d” in Figure-B.

8. Place the resistor mounting bracket where the R801 was located See “e” in the following figure.
Resistors are attached to the bracket beforehand.
9. Place the supplied RT-9023A on the resistor mounting bracket See “f” in the following figure.
10. Secure the supplied RT-9023A and resistor mounting bracket to the chassis with the supplied washer
head screws (M4x10, 4 pcs. See “g” in the following figure).
11. Solder the diode, magnetron and capacitor to the supplied RT-9023A See “h” in the following figure.

12. Solder the resistor to the diode (See “j” in the following figure)..

2. How to replace the MD board (03P9244B/F/H to 03P9244K)

1. See the step a to d in below, remove the 03P9244B/F/H board with its chassis from the RF unit.
Note: Do not discard the screws unfastened from the board.

(Figure-C) a. Disconnect all connectors (See “a” in the following figure. 6 pcs.).
b. Unfasten flat head tapping screws (M4x15, 3 pcs., See “b” in the following figure).
c. Unfasten flat head tapping screws (M4x10, 4 pcs., See “c” in the following figure).
d. Unfasten flat head tapping screws on the outside of the cover
(M4x10, 2 pcs., not shown below).

2. Fit the 03P9244K board and chassis at the old MD board location, referring to the above figure
for fastening locations.
3. With the board and chassis fastened, connect all connectors (See “e” in the following figure. 6 pcs.).

Note: For 03P9244B replacements, connection to

the J816 connector is not required, as there
is no harness.

Set to 520-530 V in the L pulse TX mode. V

10. 抵抗固定板 と 、 支給の RT-9023A を支給のナベセムスネジ (M4×10、 4 本 ) で共締め し ます

マグネ ト ロ ンの駆動方式を定電流か ら定電圧に変更する場合は、 本キ ッ ト を使用 し て以下の手順でパル
ス ト ラ ン ス と MD 基板の交換を行います。 交換の際は、 サービ スマニ ュ アル (SMJ-35190-*) も 参照 し て
く だ さ い｡
作業終了後は 6 ページのチ ェ ッ ク シー ト を使用 し 、 すべての作業を行 っ た こ と を確認 し て く だ さ い。
注）03P9244J から 03P9244K への交換手順は、技術情報（T3-2018-005）を参照してください。
