EMPANELMENT OF MODULAR FURNITURE MANUFACTURERS .

State Bank of India, Local Head Office, No. 65, St. Mark's road, Bangalore
-560001 invites applications for empanelment of modular furniture manufactures
for customization, supplying and installing modular furniture for various projects
in the state of Karnataka.

Eligible manufacturers desirous of empanelment requested to take note of

the following.
1) This advertisement is given for emapanelment of manufacturers of modular
furniture. The companies/manufacturers who have supplied furniture to Bank
in the past will also have to apply for the empanelment.
2) It is imperative that the manufacturers should have own manufacturing plant
for customization of modular furniture. Manufacturer should also have
service station,sales office and permanent office set up in the state of
Karnataka, preferably in Bangaluru. Companies/manufacturers should have
valid registration for GSTN, PAN, TAN, EPF, labour licence, policy for
workmen compensation, ESI registration, approval for plant & machinary from
Small scale industries or Industries department of State /Union territories for
operating the industrial manufacturing unit etc. Suppliers/vendors who
outsource the work to third party for production or import the modular
furniture shall not be considered for empanelment.
3) It is also essential that the manufactures should have skill and knowledge for
customization of furniture to suit the various requirements of the Bank.
EMPANELMENT OF MODULAR FURNITURE MANUFACTURERS .

CATEGORY A ,B, AND C [ Definition of similar work.]

The similar works includes customization, supply, installation and commissioning

of modular furniture such as work stations,tables, side units, low height storage
units, high storage, low height partitions, high partitions, conference tables etc.
for office requirements. Wardrobes, beds, bed side units, class room desks, class
room seating benches with cushioned upholstery, dining tables, modular kitchens
etc. for training institute and residential premises. These works should have been
customized and executed as per the plan/layout and design prepared by heir
clients.

The Bank reserves the right to :

1. Select or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason there
for. The Bank also reserves the right to postpone the process of
empanelment due to administrative exigencies.
2. The manufacturing set up, office and works/Projects of manufacturers
/companies who fulfill the eligibility criteria shall be inspected by the
committee formed by the Bank prior to final empanelment and the decision
of the committee as regards to capacity/quality/ workmanship of the works
undertaken by the manufacturers and suitability to carry-out the works
shall be final. If any information furnished by the applicant is found
incorrect at a later stage; he shall be liable to be debarred from the tender/
taking up the works.
3. The tenders for the work shall be issued to the empanelled manufactures
and separate notice inviting tenders will not be published in news paper.
The notice inviting tenders will be sent to empanelled companies by e-mail
or e-tenders will be published in Bank's website for empanelled vendors
and e-tenders/reverse auction process shall be held on separate e-
 tendering platform through Bank's approved agencies which shall be
limited to empanelled manufacturers.
4. Incomplete applications of the applicants, who do not submit the
application indicating valid e-mail ID, registration under GST, Income tax
PAN , annual turnover for the past 3 years and other registrations as
referred above, relevant proof of completion of the work, copies of work
order , photograph etc. will be summarily rejected.

Eligibility Criteria for empanelment of contractors/Architects.

Only those manufacturers who have undertaken similar works and worked for
public sector undertaking , MNC's State & central Govt, PSU Banks, reputed
institutions/software companies etc. on commercial / office/ residential buildings
and have executed similar works with excellent finishes and furnish documentary
evidence of complying with the following criteria, shall be considered for
empanelment.

CATEGORY A

MODULAR FURNITURE WORK FROM RS. 200 LACS TO RS. 500 LACS.
1. Average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years preceding current
financial year ended 31st March should not be less than Rs.150 lakhs.
2. should have successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years
ending last day of month previous to the one in which application is submitted,
as under .
(a) either three works, each costing not less than Rs. 200 lakhs or
(b) two works, each costing not less than Rs.250 lakhs or
(c) one work costing not less than Rs.400 lakhs.
CATEGORY B

MODULAR FURNITURE WORK FROM RS. 100 LACS TO RS. 200 LACS.
1. Average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years preceding current
financial year ended 31st March should not be less than Rs.60 lakhs.
2. should have successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years
ending last day of month previous to the one in which application is submitted,
as under .
(a) either three works, each costing not less than Rs. 80 lakhs or
(b) two works, each costing not less than Rs.100 lakhs or
(c) one work costing not less than Rs.160 lakhs.

CATEGORY C
MODULAR FURNITURE WORK UP TO RS. 100 LACS.
1. Average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years preceding current
financial year ended 31st March should not be less than Rs.30 lakhs.
2. should have successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years
ending last day of month previous to the one in which application is submitted,
as under .
(a) either three works, each costing not less than Rs. 40 lakhs or
(b) two works, each costing not less than Rs.50 lakhs or
(c) one work costing not less than Rs.80 lakhs.

Interested and eligible manufacturers can submit their applications in the

prescribed format which may be collected free of cost from Assistant General

building 2nd floor ,Local Head office, Bangalore-1 on any working day and shall
be duly filled and submitted on or before 28/08/2017 at 3.00 p.m. Application for
