Part A: Mechanical Design Process

In identifying customer’s requirements and prioritizing their needs before a certain product is
designed, Kano diagram and analysis could be used. Using the Kano diagram and analysis, select the
most related product from three (3) different manufacturers and compare them in a single table
based on the three (3) quality categories in the Kano diagram that every brand portrays. You may
use your current design project product or other interesting product as base. Discuss how the three
(3) quality categories in the Kano diagram may help you to prioritize your customer’s need in
designing a certain product.
