Youth Empowerment

I believe that a modern youth should abide with the quote “Keep
shining, keep going. Be a youth who amazes”. A youth who has a
good heart after all those battles and rejections he or she had been
through, is a person that is being made to standout, one who
knows how to keep his or her feet on the ground, and someone who
keeps God at the center of their hearts. And it would be so
amazing to find a youth like this which is so rare these days.

2. Politics and Governance

The youth of today have proven that they can also do what the
older generation can do in terms of leadership and power. I

3. Influence

Besides God, the most influential person in my life is my Mom. She

is my source of inspiration and she is exactly what I wanted to be
as a woman: strong, self assured and confident. I have learned
unconditional love from her simply because she is my mother. I
believe that being a mother is an underrated profession without
any compensation and that has been her greatest influence
towards me.
4. Family Responsibility

My ultimate responsibility as a daughter would have to be, to

follow the footsteps of my mother and leave a legacy as what she
did to us. Besides God, the most influential person in my life is my

5. Social Responsibility (could be used in Environmental Issues

or any social/pressing issue in our country)

Any youth can embark a change in a society. That is why I

personally envision myself as an advocate for mother earth. I
would like to wish for the betterment of all humanity and our
environment which can be attained by being a catalyst of change.
As cliche as this may sound, these problems we are experiencing
can be eradicated, if we have a complete understanding of our
environment as well as the consequences of our actions.
Remember, it only takes one single brave step in order to create
better change in this world.

6. Graft and Corruption in our country

Throughout my life, I have learned the value of transparency.

Transparency in such a way, that you free yourself from
temptations, corruption or greediness especially in dealing with
money. Although money makes the world go round, we must
remember that it can also be the root of all evil. And what better
way for us to learn the significance of dealing with money at a
young age? Through early practice and discipline as the youth of
tomorrow. Remember, one act of integrity can go a very long way.

FINAL ANSWER:

Looking back, I was once a caterpillar that later on transformed to

a butterfly which soared greater heights. As a woman who aspires
to be the next Ms AAY of 2018, it would be my primary
responsibility to not only lift Antique as a mere province but also
introduce it as a breeding ground or powerhouse of talents and
potentials. This talented Antiquenos can potentially be used for
worthy causes beneficial to our community. I believe that a true
beauty queen isn’t only about the face, body or intelligence but it is
about her platform to create change and make an impact in the
lives of others.
