1. In what ways do beauty contests help the women?

beauty pageant is a celebration of beauty. It is an act and a venue to acknowledge and give honor to the
beauty God have given us. It is also an effective means to campaign for social awareness of different
social issues and problems that need our attention since the answers the candidates give serve as piece
of good advice to the concerned public.
2. Who is the most influential person in your life?
The most influential person in my life is my mom. My mother is exactly who I
want to be like in the future: kind, compassionate and a true epitome of a God-fearing
woman. She is an inspiration and a blessing for me and for others who have come in
contact with her.
3. Who is that one influential person you want to meet and what do you want to learn from him/her?
I would like to meet the pope. Since he has profound wisdom, I would like toknow what his opinion or
belief is on what matters most in life. Being a Man of God, I would also like to ask for his prayers for our
place, the people of (mention the name of the pageant), and the less fortunate who may have Litle hope
of survival
4. If you had to live your life all over again, what part of your life would youchange?
None! I would not change a single scene in my life. I am me because of what Ihave been through.
Changing any part of my life automatically changes what definesme as a person, and I do not want that
to happen.
5. If you were given the chance to live again, what would it be?
If I were given the chance to live again, I would still be me. I know that there is a work in this world that I
alone could do. There is a space in this world that I alone could fill. There is a sound that I alone could
make. There are people who would miss me if Iam not around. That is why if given the chance to live
again, I would still be me.
6. If God should grant you one wish, what would it be?
If God will grant me a wish, I would ask that no one in this world should ever go hungry because of
financial deprivation and social depression. It is an awful fact to accept that while the world is busy
keeping up with luxury and innovation, there are still thousands of faceless beggars out on the cold
streets begging for aims.
7. What can be your greatest contribution to the community?
The greatest contribution I can give the community is to join clean and green projects, charity missions,
livelihood seminars and I believe pageants like this which have it's focus on the development of one’s
personality, confidence, self-esteem and other skills can help me achieve that.
8. If you will be winning the crown tonight, what will be the very first thing youwill do?
If I will be crowned tonight as (Title of pageant), the very first thing that I will do is to thank God. Nothing
could be more important than offering my achievements and thanking God who is the real source of all
things beautiful
9. How would you change the world if you were to play God for a day?
Actions speak louder than words. I would act to uplift thoughts and sentiments ofmankind, and the
change will follow automatically
10. Do you think that the youth of today faces more pressure of performance than the previous
generation?
Yes. Definitely the youth today faces much more pressure than the previous generation. They
have to adapt to several circumstances at once. This kind of pressure has made the world much more
dynamic and fast-paced.
11. If you were to be appointed as secretary of DOT what innovation will you implement to boost
cultural tourism?

It would definitely be sustainable tourism. The Philippines is such a melting pot for different cultures,
and we are the best tourist spot in the whole world, but because we are so popular, we are degrading
the environment and we are losing touch of our culture. So if we can promote sustainable tourism by
avoiding over-tourism and making sure that each Filipino gets to explore each and every corner of the
Philippines then we can celebrate the Philippines while protecting it.

12. Should bloggers and vloggers be accredited as members of the mainstream media?

I do believe so because they are voices for the things that they care about, for other people, as well as
those that they represent. Bloggers and vloggers do their best to provide people with information in all
shapes, sizes, forms, and platforms. My mother personally herself is a blogger, and I know that she
proudly advocates and shares all the things she’s passionate about. Anyone can be well-educated on a
subject if they are passionate and dedicated, and if people use credible sources, then absolutely.

Can you give me three reasons why we have to stay here laguna?
First is that, laguna has a very affordable way of life. The food, the transportation fares and the cost of
merchandise are very affordable. The second reason would be its warm and welcoming atmosphere that
I always feel. The third reason is that, it is really hard to resist loving this place, you really learn to adore
and look for the unique feeling that you experience in our town. It just feels like home.

If given the chance, what part of laguna would you like to improve?
If ever I gain that rare opportunity, I would like to improve our town’s public market. The reason behind
is that, the market is the main source of our existence, which is food. I would like it to be more sanitary
and more organized. This improvement will not only benefit the buyers but as well as the vendors
themselves. And in return, this will entice more suppliers and potential investors to come and do business
here in laguna.

How would you promote tourism in your province (laguna)?

As a beauty pageant contestant with a convincing aura of beauty, I could promote my province by
describing it to tourists and entrepreneurs as a place where peace and security harmoniously go side-by-
side. A place where the historical site and its natural resources are maintained rich and undisturbed; a
place where beautiful people live in peace, in love and in harmony, helping one another to achieve
community project, goals and endeavors under the good and internationally outstanding leadership of
the officials; a place where people revere and fear God. That is the home of sages and the birthplace of
the country’s notable nationalists, dr. jose rizaql.

How would you promote tourism in our country?

As a beauty pageant contestant with confidence and a convincing aura of beauty, I could promote the
Philippines, our country, (laguna) by proudly announcing to the world about the beautiful atmosphere of
its location, the pristine bodies of water surrounding it, bio-diversified landmarks, beautiful beaches and
most importantly, the warm, welcoming people, the Filipinos (lagunense). I would use my social
networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the like, to tell the whole world what our
country (region) has to offer. In that way, we can reach almost everyone in the world regardless of
gender, age, and culture.
What do you think is the main obstacle that our country faces when it comes to tourism, and how do
you think can you help solve the problem?
I think that the most evident problem that we have when it comes to tourism in our country is the
tainted image of the Philippine security system, the bad publicity that brands our security system as
fallible. As a beauty, I would like to send out my message to everyone in the world, most especially to the
foreigners, our beloved tourists, that the Philippines is still your home here in Asia, and we, Filipinos, love
you.

Catastrophic phenomenon like global warming is an overdue issue. What will you do to reverse the
effects of Global Warming?
Global warming is when the earth heats up, temperature rises and so to speak. It hurts many people,
animals and plants. Many cannot take the change so they die. So I am very conscious about conserving
electricity. It does not only reduce our bill, it also helps reduce heat emission. Plus, I make sure to take
part in school and community activities such as cleaning drives and tree planting. I also try to reduce
waste and dispose of it properly because I believe that if every Filipino will practice the 4 R’s which are
to reduce, re-use, recycle, and recover, our country would definitely be a better place.

What will be your contribution to mitigate global warming?

I should be more than willing to join any green movement seminars in educating the public on caring and
saving the environment. With the advancement of technology, I would use my social networking sites
such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the like, to tell the whole world what our country (region) has
to offer. In that way, we can reach almost everyone in the world regardless of gender, age, and culture.

Why Is It Important To Embrace Our Cultural Differences?

By learning to embrace our cultural differences we make our society even stronger.

Quotes
Cultural differences should not separate us from each other, but rather cultural diversity brings a
collective strength that can benefit all of humanity.

“It is not our diversity which divides us; it is not our ethnicity or religion or culture that divides us. Since
we have achieved our freedom, there can only be one division amongst us: between those who cherish
democracy and those who do not.”

We may have different religions, different languages, different colored skin, but we all belong to one
human race.

Culture makes people understand each other better. And if they understand each other better in their
soul, it is easier to overcome the economic and political barriers.

One's heritage and roots is something to be proud of and cherished. It is not the honor that you take
with you, but the heritage you leave behind. You don't stumble upon your heritage. It's there, just
waiting to be explored and shared.
