#Kaing

Every place has a special thing to offer which serves as its identity that is considered unique and originally produced.
Aside from being entitled the "Summer Capital of Iloilo", Leon is also considered to be the "Fruit and Vegetable Basket" of
the province for kaing is used to be the container of the products of Leon and said to symbolize the prosperity of the
Municipality. The very reason why we have the official festival - The Kaing Festival.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Kaing speaks as an embodyment of Leon - its rich culture and tradition and its people who
are strong, resilient and united.

#Social Media

We live today in world dominated by the internet. For most people, not a day goes by without them using the internet.
As an internet user, we must be responsible of our actions because if we will be not mindful enough, we can destroy
lives. We have the power to make the decision. Before clicking the "enter" key, think, rethink and reflect. We shall all help to
build a healthier, gentler, more loving and constructive online world.

#Eco-Tourism

Eco-tourism means responsible travel that conserves environment and sustains the well-being of the local people.
Eco-tourism is helpful because it promotes economic stability - Travelling to local attraction offers exciting experiences
and it contributes to more jobs and a boost in local community. And is also helpful because it is valuable for people and the
planet - We meet people during travel and this creates a sense of unity and cultural sensitivity. As an eco-tourist, we travel in
a way that shows respect to nature and does not contribute to its degradation.

#Education

I sincerely believe that QUALITY EDUCATION will be the driving factor against poverty. Education leads ton enhanced life
in the form of better opportunities, championing of life and political awareness. According Nelson Mandela and I quote "It is
through education that a child of a farmer can become a president of the country."
All of these begin with us. We must educate ourselves and the people around us. Secondly, we must be advocates and
voices of our community for educational reform and lastly, we must be missionaries of the modern world by spreading hope
and love in place of personal agenda and hate.
This is what I believe.....EDUCATION CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.

#Leon

I am Leon, fierce as a lion in carrying out tourism site development plan; maintaining peace and order, sustaining the
title "The Fruit and Vegetable Basket of Iloilo". Abundantly blessed with fruit-bearing trees, fresh vegetables, breathtaking
views and overflowing tributaries. A place where serenity provides an avenue to commune with God. A perfect getaway from
the hustle and bustle city life. A home away from home.
Welcome to Leon - a place of good food, wonderful destinations and kind-hearted and beautiful people.

#Youth

We, the youth, though today's greenhorns, are empowered millennials gearing upward looking forward to have have a
very excellent upshot. We are maximizing our potentials to become the catalysts not only of this generation but of the future
as well with the help of our Almighty. Being in this contest is the one way of showing that empowerment, that is today, this
youth will conquer the roaring lion - Leon.

# LGBTQ

"We live in a judgemental world". I believe that Gender and Development serves as a vehicle for LGBTQ to have equal
rights for safe and unbiased treatment. They have the rights to live with dignity and without fear from the stigma that's over
shadowing us. If we open our hearts now in the goodness of accepting, then maybe we could be free from the unbiased
world. Instead of discriminating and underestimating them, we shall accept them with full love and respect. We must be
responsible of our actions because if we will not be mindful enough, we can destroy lives. We the power to make the
decision. Before saying or doing something bad to them, we must think, rethink and reflect. We shall all help to build a
healthier, gentler, more loving and constructive world.
