Objective: Students will be able to accurately recognize and identify equal numbers of objects
4 out of 5 times during the lesson.

Assessment plan: Use the preassessment to see what the students, know do not know and
need to know. Invite students to draw on their board the number of items that would match the
ones provided by the teacher. Students will put thumbs up or down to predict that they think
they know what the equal number is to the one provided by the teacher. Check students’ s
answers on the white board.
