the system created, the researchers were able to create a system that not only allowed them to provide
relevant health services, but the system created also acts as a platform to create, store, and consolidate
important medical data, which acts as a data backbone and have great use for future clinical purposes. As a
result, the system made the processes of the RHU faster, generate accurate reports, and provide relevant
and actionable information. PBHIS aimed to help the RHU analyze the data taken from its patients, identify
key areas of concern, and make better and well-informed decisions.
In relation to this study, acquiring valuable and timely data and processing them in order to provide relevant
health services seems to be an obstacle; so with the system created, the researchers were able to create a
system that not only allowed them to provide relevant health services, but the system created also acts as a
platform to create, store, and consolidate important medical data, which acts as a data backbone and have
great use in different kinds of businesses. Computerized Health Records Management System

Charles Namibara (2018) Health records management is such an important area in health care delivery
because without proper records, planning is rendered difficult” According to Charles Namibara , the aim of
his study was to build a computerized records management system that would be more effective and
efficient than the existing manual system in Hospital. This was done by looking at the existing health
records management system, analyzing its strong and weak points design and implementation of a new
system. Interviews, observation and document reviews were tools used in data collection.

new system. Interviews, observation and document reviews were tools used in data collection.

Maria Cristina B. Balsita April (2016) “DentISt: Dental Information System” One of the first attempts in
the conversion of patient dental records of UPCD to electronic records is Open DentIS. However, the system
lacks some functionalities and problems were encountered when it comes to patient records access. Dental
Information System 2.0 (DentISt), the second version of Open DentIS, gives UPCD clinicians free access
and storage of electronic patient dental records. The system stores patient dental records containing different
forms derived from the UPCD admitting section form. The system allows clinicians to easily search for
patients according to specified criteria.

K. Klassen (2015) As lateness increases, it is shown that, in general, appointment slots should be shorter
and pushed later in the session. Conversely, as interruptions rise, appointments in the middle of the session
should be longer. The purpose of this paper is to design appointment systems that reduce waiting times of
the patient while maintaining utilization of the physician at a high level.
In relation to this article, a system that reduce waiting times of the patient while maintaining utilization of
the physician at a high level.

Foreign Studies
According to Masoud Hussein Mahundi (2018) The need for integration of health information systems as
realized in the 90s by the developing countries resulted into deliberate standardization initiatives. Software
systems, human resources, procedures, and data collection tools were all subjected to standardization. This
standardization, however, has been so absolute that the local and permanent variations were not taken into
consideration.
In relation to this study, it provides the data to identify non-performing areas and leads to better business
productivity and efficiency.

According to Lahar Mishra (2019) Organizations find it difficult to manage the information as a whole,
before computer technology bloomed. Developments in computer technology made it possible for the
managers to easily gather, integrate, store and manage the information in the form they require depending
upon their needs and timing. Information is used simultaneously by many people. The information needs
to be current, accurate, concise, timely, complete, well presented and storable.

simultaneously by many clients.

Lohrey & Media (2015) says Information is a critical business resource and like any other critical resource
must be properly managed. Constantly evolving technology, however, is changing the way even very small
businesses manage vital business information. An information management system designed to capture,
process, store and retrieve information is the glue that holds a business together.
In relation to this article, it shows an operation on the information processes or the creation of data and how
it is handled by an administrator.

According to Ian Paul Valeza Alberto (2015) Nowadays, most of the businesses and institutions are still
using an old system of recording, which is done manually. The staff/assistant are still experiencing an old
tradition of recording where it consumes more space, time, paper and other problem to find/store the
patient’s information. One of the most vital institution that need a computerized recording are clinics. The
clinic management system is divided into two, where the admin and user can be logged in separately. The
admin is the one that can add, delete and change about the user’s information and also about the patient’s
information. The computerized system is not only responsible for recording the details about the patient, it

Francis Donn T. Mendoza (2015) states that Manual Recording System provides an effective and useful
way to record and deliver an efficient information system but it lacks the ability to auto-sort the records.
Other concerns are paper record which does not last permanently. The Clinic Management System is
designed to guarantee the removal of various problems or to eliminate the problem of redundancy that
increases the inefficiencies in data to be retrieved.
In relation to this article, recorded data is important and there are problems in manual systems which is data
redundancy and paper record that does not last. Clinic management features the removal of those problems,
Auto-sorting and preservation of data.

According to Tilak Salian (2016) DCMS is a system which will help dentist to keep track of patient dental
problems from time to time. This system allows dentist to help patients to improve their awareness and take
care about their oral health. The date regarding the patient dental information will help the patient in order
to apply for the next treatment and also to be used for the future. DCMS can analyze data that had been
captured and can come out with an analysis report to summarize the dental score for each patient. The
reports are able to summarize the patient dental healthcare performance timely according to the treatment
made.
In relation to this article this information system features tracking patient dental problems, improve patient’s
