International Border Security

It is extremely important to curb the growing strength of the Al Qaeda(AQI), Islamic States or
ISIL. Majority of the countries of the world including UK, Russia, Iraq, Afghanistan, USA, etc
have at some point or the other faced a terror attack by either one of these terrorist groups; in the
form of suicide bombing, detonation of cars or planes, arms attack or public firing. Despite being
so advanced with our military weapon and having a great team of intelligence, we are still unable
to bring down these terrorist organizations because they have no particular base. They work
cross border and, our functionalities and power is limited to only our borders. This is what gives
them the advantage to move between countries and escape away from our jurisdiction, as soon as
we are about to get hold of them. It’s high time that all the UN members unite and help in the
strengthening of United Nation Counter-Terrorism Committee(UNCCT) by giving nations more
powers to fight against such terrorist groups and bring peace and harmony in the world.

We can strengthen the committee by sharing any new updates regarding the terrorist group that
the country gets hold of, through their intelligence wings, allowing the UNCCT to move across
borders with the consent of the member nations. The countries should take help from UNCCT if
the country is facing any problem from such organizations and, the UNCCT will work jointly
with the member country and give all military, artillery, intelligence, technical assistance to
support the member nation and help fight such organizations. Let these militants not take
advantage of personal conflicts of Nations and let’s together show them what United Nations is
capable of doing.

We all know that a militant group of such power could not work without the funding and support
of any country so it is time we come together and look after ways to stop them from getting
funded. Let the UN take charge and fight against such terrorist organizations and the member
nations cooperate with the Security Council on this. Just the way USA was able to bring down
Osama Bin Laden, the leader of such a terrorist organization, I think together with the help of our
member Nations we can bring down more such Bin Ladens and do this world a great favour by
restoring peace .

Establishment of Nuclear weapon free zone

The spread and use of Nuclear weapons is a fundamental threat to the security of all the people
of all the Nation. We have seen the impact of such weapons in World war and we know the
potential of such weapons to damage the life and property of millions of people. We also know
how catastrophic could be the impact of such a weapon over any of the major cities of the world
be it Beijing, Tokyo, Washington or London. And what amount of damage to the lives and
property of innocent individual can such a weapon cause. Therefore, we, The United States, are
here to frame a way in order to achieve our goal of a world without nuclear weapons, and it
brings Security Council Agreement on a broad framework for actions to reduce nuclear dangers
as we work towards that goal. It builds on a consensus that all the nations have the right to
peaceful Nuclear Energy and, nations with nuclear weapons have the responsibility to move
towards disarmament and, those without them have the responsibility to forsake them. The
Security Council will take the responsibility and endorse the global effort to lock all the nuclear
weapons and look after the violation of the agreement by any Nation. If any Nation violates the
agreement then, the UN will have the authority to act accordingly as and when necessary and
show the world that International laws are not just an empty promise and the treaty will be
enforced. It calls for stronger safeguard to reduce the likelihood as a peaceful Nuclear program
can be diverted to a weapons program.

Therefore let’s take a joint initiative to stop the establishment of any Nuclear weapon and use
such technologies for a clean nuclear energy for the benefit of nation and mankind as a whole,
instead of increasing the potential of nuclear wars in future. No matter how great the obstacles
may seem we must never stop our efforts to reduce the weapons of war and jointly work towards
the establishment of a nuclear free world, and not just a Nuclear free Nation or zone. We would
leave this meeting with a renewed determination of achieving a shared goal for the benefit of
mankind and work towards the achievement of the same.

In America we promise we will pursue a new agreement with Russia to substantially reduce our
Strategic warheads and launches. We know there will be setbacks and there will be people not
agreeing with me on this idea of universal nuclear free zone but, lets not forget that at the end we
are all fighting for a common cause which is universal peace and harmony amongst the nation.
And we must not stop at all until we see the day when nuclear weapons are banished from the
face of the earth.

With this, I would like to conclude by saying- “A NUCLEAR WAR CANNOT BE WON AND
MUST NEVER BE FOUGHT.”
