ENTRANCE OF THE CELEBRANT

Former US President Abraham Lincoln once wrote, “and in the end, it’s not the
years in your life that count, but the life in your years.” This afternoon is a
celebration of both the years and the life of Engineer Reynaldo Decasa.

Good afternoon everyone, I am Teacher Osler Paypa and I will be your host for
this afternoon.

All of us gathered here have been a part of Engineer Rey’s life-one way or
another. Kung baga, memory lane ang theme natin this afternoon as we
reminisce the good 60 years Engineer Rey has shared with us. This afternoon
is all about you, Engineer Rey. (Ngayong gabi din po ay sinicelebrate natin ang
pagsali niyo sa isang club..Isang grupo ng mga taong libre ang sine, VAT-
exempted at may express lanes sa mga grocery stores. Dagdagan natin ang
inyong citizenship. Hindi nalang po kayo Filipino Citizen pati na din Senior
Citizen :D) Madami pa pong naka-prepare na surprises para sa inyo. Because
this afternoon, we celebrate you.

INTRODUCTION OF THE FAMILY

Before anything else, gusto ko po munang ipakilala ang may pakana po ng
gabing ito. Ladies and gentlemen, the family of Engineer Rey.

First we have,

1. Mrs. Erlinda Decasa – she is the wife of Engineer Rey, and was very busy
sa mga nakaraang linggo preparing for the surprise birthday of her
beloved husband.
2. Mr. Benzene Decasa – Then we have Sir Benzene, panganay po nila
Engineer Rey and Ma’am Linda, siya po ata ang punong salarin sa
surprise na ito. He is a nurse graduate and currently working at Cebu
City as Regional Sales Manager.
3. Ms. Katrina Nova Decasa – The one and only daughter of Engineer Rey
and Ma’am Linda is no other than Ms. Katrina Nova, she’s a foodtech
graduate.
4. Mr. Bryan Decasa – and lastly Mr. Bryan Decasa, sya po ang bunso and
isa din to sa mga punong salarin ng surprise na ito. He is also an
Engineer and currently working at Santos Knight Frank as Mechanical
Engineer.

GRAND INTRODUCTION OF THE CELEBRANT

Engineer Reynaldo Decasa – Born on October 25, 1959 in (Place) to (Name

of parents), our celebrant is the eldest of 6 children. He attended (High
School)_______________________________________ and went to University of
Bohol where he took up Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineer.
Growing up, our celebrant has been very hardworking. Sa sobrang
hardworking ni Engineer Rey, dalawang lugar mo lng daw sya mahahanap,
sa bahay or sa trabaho, although we are yet to confirm this later. After
graduation, Engineer Rey ____________________________as his first job.
Currently, he is working abroad as Mechanical Enginer at Papua New
Guinea. Being as dedicated to his family and career, our celebrant deserves
this afternoon to celebrate his special day with people who matter to him, let
us once again welcome, the man of the hour, ENGINEER REYNALDO
DECASA!

OPENING PRAYER

To start our celebration, I would like to call on one of the friend or

kumpare of Engineer Rey, Mr. Dodoy Lawlong to lead us in the opening
prayer.

WELCOME TOAST

At this point, tatawagin ko nman ang panganay na anak ng ating

celebrant, Mr. Benzene Decasa to welcome us to this afternoon’s event
and to give a toast to our celebrant.

PRAYER BEFORE DINNER

But for now, we proceed to one of the most important parts of this
celebration: enjoying each other’s company over good food prepared for
us by BARCODE. And to lead us in the prayer before meals, I would like
to call on stage, Mr. Lawlong again.

Before we proceed to the buffet tables, maglilibot po si Engineer Rey sa

mga tables ninyo para sa pictures or pwede din dto sa ating backdrop
para mas maganda ang kuha. Para po mas maayos at mabilis, we will
divide the area into two. Yung isang grupo po, proceed na sa buffet
tables, while the other half, you may approach the buffet table after
Engineer Rey has taken a photo with your group. Ok ba yun??

other people na gusto nila, personally ka nila ma-greet. Sa lahat po ng

nyo pong sabihin ang mga memories nyo about Sir Rey, pwede din po ang mga
unforgettable moments nyo and dahil birthday naman ni Sir Rey and everyone
here is very eager to know more about him, pwede nyo po siyang ipahiya ng
konti sa mga kwento nyo. So basically, magttoast tayo to all the good things
and ang pagkwento nyo ng mga unknown facts about Sir Rey ang roast part.

Thank you, Engineer Rey!

According to famous John Lennon, you should “Count your age by friends, not
years. Count your life by smiles, not tears.” With that said, If we do count
Engineer Rey’s age by his friends and by the smiles he paints on people’s faces,
hindi lng siguro siya 60 years old ngayon, siguro 100 na. Ngayong gabi po,
nagkaroon tayo ng pagkakataon to celebrate life and all its blessings. From
tonight, we see another year in Engineer Rey’s life filled with happiness, love
and joy surrounded by his family and friends.

Again, HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ENGINEER REYNALDO!
