Day 3 - 16th Dec- Moradabad to chisapani Nepal via Bhimdatta checkpost Nepal ( After- entering the bhimdatta checkpost about 100 mtrs on the right is the customs / Bansar office, they will ask for vehicle Reg and 100 bucks for a day for the bike...Personal entry not required! , they accept indian currency ) - 283 kms - Hotel - Siddhartha Resort. Day 4 - 17th Dec - Chisapani to Chitwan, sauraha( Speed- limits thru national parks are strictly monitored stick to the timings given by the check post or keep 40 kmph)- 446 kms - Hotel -Jungle wildlife camp. Day 5 -18th Dec - Chitwan National Park- Jeep Safari ( Jeep safari costs approx 2500 bucks, Rhino and croc sightings are very common) Day 6-19th Dec- Chitwan Nepal to Siliguri India( Single lane highways and town after town)( Entering- into India no one checked any papers)- 496 kms - The Loft Hotel. Day 7 - 20th Dec - Siliguri to Phuentsholing Bhutan( No permits are needed to enter Bhutan/ Phuentsholing) - 153 kms - Park Hotel. Day 8 - 21st Dec - Phuentsholing to Thimphu ( Making- permits usually requires one day, sat and sun the immigration office is shut. Get your passport stamped for Entry into Bhutan at the office and submit your papers of Id proof and hotel bookings if any, this permit is only valid for Thimphu and Paro) 150 kms - Hotel Bhutan Boutique Residency. ( approach road is off roading and a small stream crossing) Day 22 - Sacred forest trail walk ( 4kms from Maple pine)and Ride to Mawlynbna ( average road condition) - 47kms Day 23- Mawphlang to Sohra- 52 kms- Home Stay Cascade ( Narrow road and average condition) Day 24 - Sightseeing to Waterfall Mawsawaw 20 mins from Home stay, Long root bridge and Nohkalikai Waterfalls. ( The long root bridge is 3000 steps down from the entrance, the double decker bridge 5000 steps and Rainbow falls are further down that trail.) Day 25 - Cherrapunji to Dawki/Shnongpdeng - 90 kms - Hotel Beetle Nut resort. (Ride to Dawki is a must, most of the road is in good condition. Very narrow sections in places.
