1. You are required to create a marketing brochure for AlienWare Laptop.
2. Open Adobe Photoshop and start with a new blank canvas. 3. Canvas dimensions should be “width 1024 and height 773”. 4. Save the PSD file as “YourName-brochure.psd” in your class folder. 5. Open background.jpg in Photoshop, copy the background layer image to the “YourName-Brochure.psd” and set the picture to cover the whole canvas. 6. Open “main.png” in Photoshop and copy the background layer image to the “YourName-Brochure.psd” canvas. Resize the main.png appropriately so that other elements can be placed on the canvas conveniently. 7. Apply preferred drop shadow on “main.png” to make it look appropriate and emphasizing on the background.jpg. 8. Open the “logo.png” file and delete the white background and apply white stroke with bevel & emboss and blue drop shadow. 9. Make a copy of the “logo.png” layer on the “YourName-Brochure.psd” canvas and it’s alignment should be top-center. 10. Open “Intel-logo.jpg” in Photoshop and copy the background layer image to the “YourName-Brochure.psd” canvas. Resize the Intel-logo.jpg, apply layer blend to “Hard light” and also apply preferred drop shadow. 11. Open Nvidia-logo.png in Photoshop and copy the background layer image to the “YourName-Brochure.psd” canvas. Resize the “Nvidia-logo.png”, and apply layer blend to “Hard Light”. 12. Open “windows-logo.png” in Photoshop and copy the background layer image to the “YourName- Brochure.psd” canvas. Resize the “windows-logo.png” and place it as per your requirement. 13. Open “specification.png” in Photoshop and copy the background layer image to the “YourName- Brochure.psd” canvas. Resize the “specification.png”, place it as per your requirement and change its opacity to 80%. 14. Use text tool to write your name on the top right or left corner. Text formatting should be clear and readable style, also apply white drop shadow to make it more prominent. 15. Save your complete .PSD file as JPEG with your name. 16. Save your PSD with your name in your class folder and take the printout.
