Prairiewood High School is a com ly selective school of just over 1200


students that has a strong tradi ,; ivic achievements.

The school caters for a diverse · s from a wide range of non-English


speaking backgrounds, 10 stu trait Islander background and 25
students enrolled in our 3 speci 60 academically selective students
in each year.

Summary Comments:

During the 60 hour block at PHS, ing and Support Faculty. He adhered
to a timetable where he attende d group support to Stage 4 & Stage 5
students in a variety of subject a atics, History, Geography, Science and
Visual Arts. Zachary also helped to support. ons class, a class consisting of 10 students
who are two stage levels below their coho he classroom teacher and delivering literacy
lessons.
Zachary's strong interpersonal and communication skills enabled him to engage students in their learning
and support classroom teachers. He was able to assist in differentiating and modifying tasks to tailor
learning and providing effective feedback.
Zachary also assisted with implementing strategies to improve targeted Stage 5 students who have not met
the National Minimum Standards to be eligible for a HSC. He worked collaboratively with faculty members
in designing literacy activities which supplemented the schools program.
