 Applied appropriate thermal boundary conditions and wrote UDF (User defined function) for the moving expander wall of the cryocooler
 Increased the cooling capacity by 5% and reduced the cooling time by 8% for the same operating conditions as compared to old design
 Developed an analytical model for pressure drop of the working fluid (Helium) in the porous media of regenerator during each cycle
Summer Internship at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, Coimbatore (May'18-Jul'18)
 Designed a SBW-Steer by Wire System (patent filed) for autonomous cars, eliminating mechanical linkage b/w steering wheel and rack
 Engineered mechanical designs for driver feedback torque, tilting, telescopic and stowing operations by using only a single motor
 Formulated analytical relations b/w the steering wheel feed and tire rotation based on tire slip, camber, castor and ground torque
 Performed bending, stress, deformation, factor of safety and fatigue calculations for the steering column for normal and impact loads
TeamKART- Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), Prof. Dhananjay Srivastava (Oct'15-Mar'18)
 Manually tuned KTM Duke 390's engine on Powertronic Piggyback ECU by modifying ignition timing and fuel trim for different RPMs
 Designed Differential carriers, rear sprocket, drive shafts for an FSAE car and optimized their 3D Models using Finite Element Analysis
 Optimized final drive ratio (rear sprocket) by using engine torque, tire, aero and, transmission parameters to attain faster lap times
 Implemented a pneumatic paddle gear-shifter to obtain quicker gearshifts (<200 ms), improving vehicle handling and acceleration
Step Counting Robot- Technology Robotix Society, Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (Dec'15-Jan'16)
 Built a Step Counting Robot that followed human motion by processing the analog signals received from the sensors attached on limbs
 Used 3-axis Gyro sensor and accelerometer to measure the angular velocity and acceleration of the human respectively
 Designed an embedded logic board using AVR based microcontrollers, power and motor driver IC's programmed in Atmel Studio
BACHELOR’S THESIS
Design and fabrication of a small scaled Hyperloop Pod – Professor Mihir Sarangi (Jul’18-Present)
