TOURIST SITES.
The Coffee Axis is a geographical,
cultural, economic and ecological region
of Colombia, located in the departments
of Caldas, Risaralda, Quindío, Tolima,
the southwest subregion of the
department of Antioquia, the North and
East of Valle del Cauca and the cities
capitals of the first four departments
mentioned.
The Coffee Axis is one of the most
visited tourist areas of Colombia and
almost mandatory stage of any trip that is
considered the country of coffee for
excellence.
Main Tourist Sites:
The region has developed important
theme parks, pioneers in Colombia;
Likewise, many of its miunicipaloris
have preserved part of the traditional
architecture, including:
Ukumarí Biopark:
The project is comprised of a total of
seven bioregions: endian forests, African
savanna, Asian forests, African tropical
forest, South American cliffs and arried
areas of the Caribbean and emazon.
National Coffee Park:
The coffee park is the place that attracts
the vast majority of tourists in holiday
seasons and the site by which the Coffee
Shaft has posishiond itself as the second
tourist destination in the country,
Located in the municipalori of
Montenegro in Quindío, Colombia. It has
two cable cars, shows, world coffee
garden, three roller coasters, food stalls
based on coffee, Colombian folk
architecture, and others, totaling forty
attractions that are divaided into:
mechanical, aquatic and thematic.
Park of Life :
Located in the city of Armenia, a place
where tours are made along its different
paths, lakes and waterfalls.
National Park of the Agricultural Culture
(PaNaCa):
Located in the miunicipalory of
Quimbaya, in the department of Quindío.
Its fundamental characteristic is that,
unlike zoos, the visitor immerses himself
in a personal and direct contact with farm
animals, and also enjoys activities and
shows programmed with these animals
and the realization of walks according to
the space of the sait that They allow you
to enter a world full of greens .
Cocora Valley:
Between Armenia and Salento, home of
the national tree, the wax palm of
Quindío, one of the most beautiful places
on the entire coffee axis and one of the
entrance saits to the Los Nevados
National Natural Park, where there are
also enabled places to stay and to camp.
