Real time location based dynamic digital advertisement through mobile application 2017-18

INTRODUCTION

Advertisement is certainly the foundation on which an online


business stands. Advertisement is an efficient and effective technique to
promote goods, services and ideas. It is a paid form of non-formal
communication where in business information is made available for
potential customers.

Advertisement can be divided into two types based on the nature of


development and the functions they perform.

They are:-

 Static advertisement
 Dynamic advertisement

STATIC ADVERTISEMENT

An advertisement on a Web page that does not change.

DYNAMIC ADVERTISEMENT

An advertisement on a Web page that changes according to location.

Dynamic advertisement works on two ends and they are

 Server end
 Client end

SERVER END: Databases related to the clients are maintained and


analyzed in the server end.

CLIENT END: Digital marketing is achieved through client end.

Client end includes:

 Business owners
 Advertising agencies
 Marketing medium(like Ola and Uber)

Business owners and Advertising agencies are connected through


mobile application. Marketing medium and advertising agencies are also
connected via mobile application. Marketing is done through Display
units (like tablets, LCD displays).

EXISITING SYSTEM

Create once and publish to multiple channels. Can be repurposed and


republished, but most static content just sits there and waits for people
to find and consume it.

Disadvantages of existing system:

 One-time deal: Static advertisement is good for first time visitors


but bad for repeat visitors.
 Boring: Same stuff, everyday.
 One-way communication: there is rarely any two-way dialogue
with the exception of blog comments or product reviews, and even
those can be tightly controlled and edited.
PROBLEM STATEMENT:

 The ads that have been around since the beginning of online
advertising can be considered as constant. Once that same ad
appears over and over across different websites, it can start to
become monotonous or even annoying. Viewers may even
become immune to the ad, reducing the opportunity to entice
them to click.
 Most static content is nothing more than a broadcast, just like a
TV advertisement. Static ad does not foster interaction with the
viewer and can discourage repeat visits if the ad never changes.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

To remove the drawbacks in existing system we proposed a


dynamic advertising system. Dynamic ads deliver personalized content to
customers at the right time and the right place.

ADVANTAGES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM

 Increased loyalty: studies have also shown personalized content


that changes with time and circumstance is far more likely to
produce repeat visits and subscribers than static content.
 Constant, automatic updates to ad: Ad Words will regularly
crawl your website for additions and changes in the content. This
keeps ad copy fresh and relevant to the landing pages.
 Reach people across devices: Ads will appear on desktop,
mobile and tablet, regardless of the device used to originally see
the product.

METHODOLOGY:

Methodology includes,

1. Mobile application:
1.1. Business owner should register to Ad agency via
REGISTER PAGE.
1.2. Transactions by the business owner can be achieved only
when he logs in to the app using LOGIN PAGE.
1.3. APP DRAWER includes settings through which the user can
upload images, schedule the display timings.

2. Paytm integration:
Business transactions between business owner and Ad agency is
achieved through paytm account which is integrated with mobile
application.

3. Person identification:
In order to gain maximum “reach” person identification is done
through the camera of the display unit.
