Scaling and Paper Airplanes

Real Aircrafts. Paper airplanes are so easy to do. All you have to do is to know the steps of its folding. But some
of us want to be different in terms of Paper airplanes design. Knowing the different kind of folds are so fun. The
country who originates this paper folding is the country of Japan and they called it “Origami”. It is one of their
Japanese cultures in terms of Arts and for them to enjoy it. And for this experiment this will show the
relationship between the S.A (surface area) and the weight. The length of the gliders surface area should be
greater so that the paper airplane would cover more distance cause it will lift better.

Appendix:
We as a college student of Sapphire International
Aviation academy we conduct an experiment about
the scale and paper airplanes. In this experiment we
did it as a group and we observed that the paper
airplanes would be much greater to float if it has a
greater length of its wings or its surface area. We
observed even if it’s same design but different
measurement of length and width it will affect the
float of the glider but it depends on the way you
flick your wrist or the wind around.
