CarMax Company upholds integrity and honesty in the automotive industry offering sales
and acquisition of used car. After public inception 1997, CarMax Inc. has had incredible success
owing to the level of transparency in every interaction (“CarMax Reports Fourth Quarter
Results” 48). The company acquires all sorts of used cars at a friendly price. All customers do
take the lead whenever they visit any of the company stores worldwide. Customer preferences
are highly valued and with friendly sales consultants, customers are ever satisfied (Greenwald
et.al. 74).
In terms of prices, there is always low, no-haggled prices for tens of thousands of used
vehicles available worldwide. Moreover, the company buys used cars from customers even if
they will not be able to purchase cars from the company (Rogers 91). Again there is unwavering
commitment in the company how they treat customers and associates. Through customer focus,
teamwork, respect, diversity, quality and continuous pride, CarMax has managed to remain
competitive in automotive industry according to Stoll and Steele (102). CarMax as well
contribute to the community where they live and work through youth promotion, grants,
Job creation is also key in the success of CarMax Inc. where they readily accepts anyone
interested in selling cars and is able to create rapport with the customers upholding integrity.
