CONCEPT: “UFO” (Anthem/VO)

Chicken and Donuts overthrows the classic Chicken and Waffles combo, causing a commotion
in the city of Philadelphia.

A plain, boring table is shown. A figure walks into the shot with a plate, stands in front of the
table blocking the view, and puts the plate down. Then leaves the shot.

VO: Chicken and waffles. The “classic combo”. You can’t change a classic.

VO: Well we don’t believe in rules.

A hand picks up the waffle and throws it off the screen, like a Frisbee.

VO: Rules are made for breaking.

SFX: A classic UFO sound as the Waffle UFO flies across the sky.

The waffle is flying through the night sky over Philadelphia, the moon light makes it glow a little.

VO: Donuts are only for breakfast? We broke that rule.

Donuts are a kid’s food? We broke that one too.

SFX: A classic UFO sound as the Waffle UFO flies across the sky.

People on the ground, in the city, stop and point at this circular flying object, confused because
they can’t identify it and wonder what it is.

VO: Why not try a combo that’s out of this world?

SFX: A classic UFO sound as the Waffle UFO flies across the sky.

Focus on a young couple, looking curiously at the flying object in the sky.

VO: Chicken and Donuts.

SFX: A classic UFO sound as the Waffle UFO flies across the sky.

Focus on a middle-aged business woman, who is confused by the flying object.

VO: Hot, crispy, delicious chicken paired with any donut flavor you can think of.

SFX: A classic UFO sound as the Waffle UFO flies across the sky.

Focus on a man at the corner of the street, with one of those signs that says, “Aliens are real”,
pointing at the flying object excitedly.

VO: You might be wondering, how is a donut better than a waffle?

SFX: A classic UFO sound as the Waffle UFO flies across the sky.

Focus on a dog who tilts his head in curiosity.

VO: Donuts come in all kinds of cool flavors, but there’s only one kind of waffle.

Focus on a family eating a dinner picnic in a park. The UFO Waffle can no longer be seen in the
sky.

VO: Waffles require syrup, which is just a disaster waiting to happen.

The waffle finally makes its descent, landing on the picnic, destroying it and making a huge
mess.

VO: So it’s time to move aside, Chicken and Waffles, and make way for Chicken
and Donuts.

The family from the picnic is now at a Federal Donuts location, happily getting chicken and
donuts because the waffle destroyed their dinner.

VO: Federal Donuts, just the right amount of weird.
