CONCEPT: “Return to the Wild”

The audience is immersed in the sounds of the Philadelphia Zoo and encouraged to “return to
the wild”.

The spot starts with a drawn out silence.

SFX: A breeze gently rustles the leaves in a nearby tree.

SFX: A tiger roars, breaking the silence.

VO: You hear that? That’s the sound of the wild.

SFX: Monkeys make noise now, joining the tiger.

VO: The only way you can really, really hear it is to turn off civilization, exit out
of that Netflix show you’ve already watched seven times, and return to
nature. The best place to go? The Philadelphia Zoo.

SFX: Some very noisy flamingos join in and begin to chatter on.

VO: Experience 90 varieties of animals from Aardvark to Zebra, right in your

own backyard.

VO: (Growing frustrated with the noisy animals) Get closer to a tiger than you’ve
ever have before.

SFX: All of the animals are making a lot of noise, becoming overwhelming.

VO: Would you be quiet?!

SFX: Animals silence.

VO: Thank you.

VO: This isn’t your typical Saturday, this is your wild Saturday at the
Philadelphia Zoo. What are you waiting for? Visit philadelphiazoo.org to
