Before I Say “I do”, I Need Proof

Health has always been important in human life, but ironically sexual health is a
taboo, because many people still consider sex as a forbidden topic. People claim time
have changed, but a survey given to students at San Francisco de Quito University
shows a different reality. People are sexually quite active, but they do not care enough
for their sexual health. Even people with a stable partner are in danger of contracting an
ITS. Next survey results will answer this topics.

An interview conducted in Ecuador reveals that considering three genres at

population, the 78.57 % of people are sexually active. Males are actives in an 83.35%
against females with 74.77%. In the general aspect, like a sexually active population,
males are females are so similar. So it’s feasible to say if you are dating with someone,
if the person is straight exist 64.7% of possibilities that they have had one or more
sexual partners, if is gay or lesbian 95%, other sexual orientations is 80%, if is
Ecuadorian 78.86% and foreign people 87.5%. I think is not crazy to be careful with
your health in this point.

People who are responsible with their sexual health are careful and take sexual
health proofs constantly. In statistics, the 35% of males do not have this control and for
this survey results 60.7% are not monogamous, in addition they have not this caution
about their health because just the 47% of men given a control of sexual health and
apparently just the 23.52% of this population took the test, because they became
infected. Even in the situation of someone who have a relationship and having safe sex,
males have low control. The aspect concerning women is interesting because 43.37% of
them do not use protection during the sexual relations nevertheless just 41.66% have
been tested. They are waiting protection in the other person or they just trust in their
couple?. That shows that Ecuador have not enough control about sexual sickness.

People who take control of them health, it is not cared just by themselves but
also of those whom love. It is worrying because just the 65% of males have safe sex and
from this percent 58% are no monogamous. Probably they answered that they do not
have an STI but 45% of those boys have never been tested. It is insane because the 42%
remaining is in a relationship and the 52.38% of this population have never been tested
neither. The numbers are so similar this implies that eventually a no monogamous guys
will have a relation, and they will still not be test for an ITS. In the other hand 57.83%
of females have safe sex and 83.3% of them are in a relationship, but just 54.05% have
been tested. Probably confidence its important in relationship but 7.5% of monogamous
females in the survey have a STI. They, probably, trusted in the wrong person.

Nowadays medicine has advanced a lot, but some sickness do not have cure yet.
Sex is an important part in the human’s life, but behind the pleasure exist the
responsibility not just with yourself, but also with other people, because exist this
8.64% of possibility to of choose this person that have a STI or worse than this, you
could choose this person that have never been tested, but neglect, its just 52.12%
probable. Ecuador safe sexuality is so scarce even if you are in a relationship, for this
reason before to said “I do” ask for a sexual healthy test.
