Select the Archive icon, the Getting Started item in the left side menu takes you to the Archive Assistant.
Simply follow the assistant steps to define where and how to archive the data.
Archiware P5 Configuration
The Archive Assistant will define an Archive Plan that holds the configuration. Furthermore, a virtual or physical
media changer or single drive is configured automatically and a media pool, either Disk-Archive or Tape-Archive, is
created and Volumes can be labeled in preparation to write to them.
The Assistant also allows the user to define a client in order to archive data from that client instead of the local
machine. This configuration requires a P5 installation on that client computer

When accessing drives in PresSTORE on Windows, Network drives via SMB, Samba or CIFS are usually not visible in
PresSTORE.
The reason is that PresSTORE runs as a service, but Network drives are mounted in the process context of user
processes and are thus not visible to the service.
In order to make a network drive accessible in PresSTORE , it must be mounted in the context of the local system
account. That can be achieved with the Sysinternals tool psexec. Here is how:
This will mount the drive in the true root environment and makes it available to PresSTORE.
We can assign any drive letter. The mounting path should be the path to the highres shared folder.

Username and Password – user id and password used to log in to the Archiware P5 interface.
If the Highres folder is a local folder then Network drive should be the local highres path.
Else, Network drive is the drive letter of the disconnected network drive which is mounted on the machine where
eMAM Archive Manager is installed.
