Brainstorming, group activities, pair activities, individual work, matching activities, gap filling
activities, questions and answers.
Organizimi i ores së mësimit:
Hapi i pare:
Start your class asking students about technology. How many of them have a smartphone, Ipad,,
tablet, laptop, desktop or other electronic devices. Ask them how much time do they spend using
them and the influence they have in their lives. Ask them for what do they use technology: e.g.
navigate on the web, use social networks, chat with friends etc.
After that ask students to look at Ex. 1 page 9 and match the words on the first column with the
phrases in the second column to make common collocations about technology.
At the end of this phase play the recording of Ex. 4 page 9 and ask students to answer if they are
addicted to technology.
Hapi i dytë:
Ask students to make a wish for a piece of technology they wished they had.
Then write on the board the basic form of the first conditional and ask student to complete the
sentences using their wish e.g.:
If I ……, I will ……..
After completing the sentences go over the use of first conditional and second conditional
grammar focus page 113.
Then complete Ex. 3 using first conditional and complete sentences with the correct form of the
verbs in the brackets and Ex. 5 using second conditional; questions in the questionnaire with the
correct form of the verbs in box.
After this exercise check students understanding about the use of first and second conditional and
make clear the difference between them.

Review with students Remember this grammar point and ask students the question of this
exercise: Which conditional structure do you use to show that something is not real or not
probable now?
Përforëcimi i të nxënit:
Ask students to work I pairs and do the questionnaire in Ex. 5 and compare their answers. And
then play the recording to listen to Jake and Maria answering the questions. They have to answer
whom is most like them.
Then continue with Ex. 8 and 9 page 9 using conditionals.
Vlerësimi i nxënësve:
Evaluation based on observations, answers, group work and home work.
Detyra:
Students have to ask their parents or grandparents and write how was their life without
technology when they were young or WB Exercises.
