In this paper AI based artificial neural networks were used for hybrid foundation and reinforced
foundation. For three types of foundation: hybrid foundation, geocell reinforced foundation, and
geogrid reinforced foundation different neural models were made and compared.
There are issues need to clarify before acceptance of this research article as follows:
1. Please provide full form of all the used abbreviations at first appearance only.
Abbreviations should be used thereafter without providing full forms every time. Make a
separate table for notation and abbreviations.
2. Reinforcement Foundation, Discuss the experimental details and explain GC1, GC3 and
GC%.
3. RD in Fig. 11 is shown separately while others are clubbed?
4. More explanation on future research scope would be appreciated. Kindly provide more
details on future directions which will help other researchers to work in this area.
5. There are certain grammatical and typo errors which needs attention. Authors shall
recheck the manuscript for grammatical and formatting inconsistencies.
6. Kindly redrawn all the graphs in origin. Quality of figure in this paper needs to be
improved for using as black and white manuscript.
7. How the stiffness of raft is calculated?
8. Why the comparison has been done among piled-raft foundation, geogrid and geocell?
9. How the experiments for different foundation types had been designed?
10. Why the steel piles are used in the study?
11. Why geocell has been said to be better than geogrid?
12. How experimental results have been implemented in real field problem?
13. Why Neural network is used for the study.
14. What algorithm has been used in developing neural networks?
15. Why BPNN and GRNN are used and which one is better?
