Last month I went to the city centre to do some clothes shopping.

There are some great shops there but I don’t usually go because it
takes an hour by car to get there. Anyway, I found some lovely things
and I was very happy. Then, I saw some fantastic red trousers. I
bought them without trying them on. When I got home, I tried them
on and they were too big for me.
So, the next Saturday I went all the way to the shop again
and got a smaller size. I got home and this time they were too small.
I couldn’t believe it! In the end, I gave them to my sister. They fit her
perfectly! I hate shopping sometimes!

2. She didn’t try the trousers on in the shop.

3. The smaller size fitted her perfectly.

4. The smaller trousers were the right size for her sister.
