I come from Mezőkövesd, but I live in Szentistván. It’s a small village of the northern part of Hungary.

It is situated about 40km from Miskolc. I like living here , because it’s very quiet and friendly.

I think the life is better in countryside. The air is cleaner and healthier than it is in a big city..

Although, there are less possibilities for working, but I could find a good job.

house types:

There are some types of houses like detached house which is called family house in America and it

has a yard and sometimes a garden. Semi-detached house which is called duplex in America, and it

means that two families share the house. You can also live in a flat or apartment, if you want to keep

domestic animals you can live in a cottage in Britain or in a ranch house in America.

our house:

We have a family house with a big garden.

There are a bathroom, a toilet, a kitchen, a living room and two bedrooms.

All of these places are well-furnitured and nice.

In the kitchen we have a cooker, a fridge, a microwave oven, an oven, a dishwasher, and a
cupboard.In the cupboard we keep the cutlery, the pots, the frying pans, the sauce pans, the glasses,
the napkins,and other kitchen utensils. In the living room we have a TV set, a sofa, two armchairs, a
coffee table, a DVD player, a Home Movie System, a fireplace and some pot plants. In the bathroom
we have a shower cabin, a shower sprinkler, a bath tub, a wash-basin, a faucet/tap, a mat, a towel
rack, a mirror, scales, and a shelf.

If I had the chance to change anything in our house, I would change the coloring of the house. I’d
paint it blue because my favorite is blue.

To tell the truth i don’t have a lot of friends. I have only some of them, but they are all true friends.

My best friend is ___________. She is very patient, kind, helpful and honest . I like spending time
with her because we always have a good time together. She is also funny , so we can laugh a lot with
each other. I think a best friend is honest, accepting and supporting. In my opinion the best friend
doesn’t jugde me and comforts you when I cry.
