The Amazing Savant Woman

Ellen boudreaux is in a class of her own as female savant. Ellen Bourdreaux is a

blind time-keeping wizard and musical savant from the USA. Her life could surprise
you and motivate.

Her extraordinary musical abilities were noticed when she was just six months old
and hummed the lullaby that was playing on her cradle gym. Her parents also
noticed her incredible sense of direction when she started to walk (in spite of being
blind). When she was 7, her teacher recommended her parents to buy her a piano
as her musical skill became more and more evident, and she could memorize whole
pieces after hearing them only once. She is also very good at improvising and
transposing. At about 8, she also developed and extraordinary ability to keep the
time (without looking at the watch). She currently plays with her band the
Diremakers.

In short term, she knew how to use her abilities without thinking about her
limitations. Her life serves to show us that despite the limitations, we are not
prevented from being talented.
Outcomes Reflections

About the grammar learned in this unit I can say the following: A modal
verb is a type of auxiliary (helping) verb that is used to express ability,
possibility permission, or obligation. Semi modals are phrases are used
to express the same things as modals, but are a combination of auxiliary
verbs and the preposition to.

On the other hand, I would like to highlight the part of the writing where I
learned about the topic sentence of a paragraph that is used in formal
writing. Therefore, what I can say respect to the topic sentence is must
used to state the purpose of the paragraph and should be clear and
straightforward in most cases. It is not needed in creative writing, but
rather is necessary when strict formatting in professional essays is
required.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. Do you consider that the practice is required to be a genius?

Yes I do. It is more likely that a genius practices more, than less. We have some
advantage over others, this is true. But, You take a genius at the piano, yes he
maybe great at the piano, still they need to practice at it to get to this greatness.
Where the average person may practice an hour a day at the piano; a genius may
practice at the piano for hours a day. Therefore, in the end they are truly great at the
piano. And why do not most persons practice at the piano like what was just said;
most likely they simply cannot keep up with it; physicall, mentally; to achieve this
same greatnesss that a genius would do. The ovwerall make up of a genius is
diffrrent than that of the average person. A genius can handle hours of a single day,
at the same thing, to achieve the sucesses that they do.

2. How much time do you need to become an expert?

It’s not time. It’s breadth of experience plus native ability and the willingness to admit
to error and learn from them. Don’t plan to become an expert with a schedule.

To me an expert is not someone who can do a job well. An expert is a person who
can identify the greatest risks you will encounter in something before you start, list
the ways you can tell if that risk is about to bite you and tell you what to do if the risk
comes to pass.

3. Is it necessary to be persistent to achieve success?

Yes,it is. The Persistence is the fact of continuing in an opinion or course of action in
spite of difficulty or opposition. Sometimes you may encounter what seem to be an
overwhelming odds in your life. The going may be hard, but you have to always note
that these are exams which many successful people have taken over and over
again.

In conclusion, when you face an obstacle towards achieving your goal, think about
get over it . Don’t quit, because persistence will guarantee your success.
