Being Radical

Many times in my life, I thought being able to minister and usher people to God
will lead maturity in my faith. But as i grow, i understand that its really more
than that. I understand that allowing every facet of my life, every chapter, every
aspect of my being, to be shaped by Jesus is really the way for me to mature one
day at a time.

As I grow,I begin to understand that being radical is pursuing Christlikeness in

our daily lives. Being radical is understanding that the spirit of the Lord is in
you. It's to talk and walk like Jesus. God knows the authenticity of our hearts.
God knows if we are being radical about our faith. Being radical is more than
leadership development in our church, being radical is more than ministry
involvement, being radical is more than mastering every verse in the bible. Being
radical is a loving person, an accepting person, a person who walk alongside with
his/her fellow believers whether it in hills or valleys. Being radical is laying
ones life for someone you dont know. And most importantly, a person living by the
grace of God.

In this way, others will want to know what we have that they dont have, which opens
door for us to share our faith. And thus, become a calling for a radical
discipleship. And all of these points back to Jesus Christ-our cornerstone. The one
who is truly radical! John 13:34-35: "I give you a new commandment, that you love
one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this
everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
