Today marks the sixth week of my Sabbatical journey, a time that has been truly transformative for me. I am immensely grateful to the Lord for granting me the privilege to spend the initial portion of my Sabbatical in Dubai, UAE, with my parents. Over the course of a couple of weeks, I was blessed to spend quality time with my parents and also with my eldest sister who is currently working in Dubai. We have explored the breathtaking tourist spots in Dubai. Experiences such as cruising the Desert Safari and riding a camel left an indelible impression on me. The Global Village, Future Museum, and a boat tour in Old Dubai Creek were equally awe-inspiring. This journey has been truly remarkable and unforgettable. All praise be to God!
During this Sabbatical leave, I have also committed
myself to reading the book "The Emotionally Healthy Leader" by Peter Scazzero, which served as a guiding light throughout this period. Scazzero eloquently stated the significance of Sabbatical, and I resonated deeply with his profound words.
“Pondering the love of God is the central focus of
our Sabbaths. What makes Sabbath a biblical Sabbath is that it is holy, “holy to the Lord.” We are not taking time off from God; we are drawing closer to Him. Sabbath is an invitation to see the invisible in the visible – to recognize the hidden ways God’s goodness is at work in our lives.”
Please pray that I may continue to experience God’s
presence and grow deep in His love during this Sabbatical journey.
Being away from my beloved church family was not
an easy experience for me. I sincerely miss each and every one of you. However, I stayed connected by participating in online worship and interceding for all of you in my prayers. Even as I worshipped with you virtually, I felt the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit. I witnessed firsthand how our home church continues to thrive under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Even in the absence of the senior pastor, it did not hinder the vibrancy of our community. I am greatly encouraged by your unwavering dedication to deepening your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and serving Him wholeheartedly. I urge you to continue loving the church and giving your best to glorify His name in all that you do. I extend my deepest gratitude to our loving Church Council, full-time staff, ministry leaders, and faithful volunteers who tirelessly serve God with joy in their hearts.
Throughout these past six weeks, I have diligently
journaled my special moments with God. As I PURSUE A HEART devoted myself to prayer and meditation on His Word, God has revealed numerous insights that I need to process and put into action. I humbly request your prayers, that I may continue to hear LIKE HIS. from the Lord and discern His guidance in my personal life and ministry. One of the significant messages God has impressed upon my heart is the importance of knowing the heart of Christ, which I discovered in Matthew 9:35-38.
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages,
teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and Walking in sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had groups in on them, because they were harassed compassion and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then search of he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but victims the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
With fervor, God has stirred my heart to bring this
message to our church—an urgent call to deepen our prayer life and engage in passionate evangelism because every believer is a minister. I firmly believe that the Lord will equip and prepare every individual in our church family to pursue a HEART LIKE HIS, which I will be preparing as the Lord leads for our next sermon series when I return.
As I conclude this short Sabbatical update, I would
like to encourage you to stay connected with the Lord. Please continue to be intimate with Him through prayers and meditation on His Word. By doing so, you are giving Him your utmost for His highest. Sermon Outline "NAKIKIUSAP" Pastor Jeudi Alcorcon

Tanggapin ang pakikiusap ng Panginoon.
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to
offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
