Important Definitions
What is a project?

According to the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) 3rd edition, A project is

defined as a “temporary endeavor with a beginning and an end and it must be used to create a

unique product, service or result.'' Further, it is progressively elaborated. What this definition of

a project means is that projects are those activities that cannot go on indefinitely and must
have a defined purpose.

A project is an activity to meet the creation of a unique product or service and thus activities

that are undertaken to accomplish routine activities cannot be considered projects.

will pose various threats in terms of competition

National Level

The accessibility to the customers on a national level, can be a problem

if the customers are out of reach or due to the creation of a new market
new competitors might come up as competition.

threat in terms ofquality of service, so standards of project delivery will

Technical
The project will be completely dependent on online resources and
independent online ecosystems like Web, Android and iOS making it
really efficient and convenient to execute

Financial
The return against the risk is potentially high with minimal
investment done through self-financing source

Economic
The cost incurred is high initially but the benefits and returns make
the project a sure-shot to execute. There is a monopolistic market
opportunity that strengthens the potentially high economies of scale
with minimal efforts
