At last night’s meeting, the Board voted to terminate the

Superintendent’s Employment Agreement. The Board is
confident that this is the best decision for Covert Public Schools,
and that we have a team in place that will make the transition
seamless. In fact, Covert’s talented and dedicated administrative
team has already been performing the Superintendent’s duties
since September, when the Superintendent went on
administrative leave. We have no doubt that our Interim
Superintendent, Yolanda Brunt, will continue to lead our District in
a positive direction until the Board selects a permanent
Superintendent.
