Job Profile:

• Working as DCS (Yokogawa Centum 3000) panel engineer in Crude and Vacuum distillation
(CDU/VDU), Aviation Turbine fuel (ATF), Fuel Gas, Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) treating unit.
• Monitoring the process operations with respect to overall company targets, analyzing the deviation
for proper plant operation.
• Intensive Exposure to start-up/shutdown, day-to-day operations, trouble shooting, knowledge of
DCS, PFDs, P&IDs, Logic Descriptions, Equipment Data Sheets, Cause and Effect Diagram and Safety
norms pertaining to Process Units.
• Ensure that the staff and contractors adhere to all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental reg-
ulations.
• Conducting test runs for different types of crudes and maximizing plant throughput.
• Monitoring CDU overhead Performance for controlling overhead corrosion, heat recovery in Preheat
Exchangers, Analysis and minimizing Gap and overlap of products and quality giveaway.
• Monitoring the performance of Advanced Process control (APC), identify issues and propose
solutions to minimize deviation.
 • Ensuring adherence to refinery policies, procedures and safety guidelines. Co-coordinating with
unit maintenance and agencies to ensure safe plant operation.
• Analyzing & preparation of the Plant performance and product quality report, incident report,
review and updating of SOP’s and Manual, maintaining Interlock bypass records.
• Team member of turnaround activities such as equipment handover, equipment inspection i.e.
column, vessel and heater internal, maintenance job.
• Providing training to junior executives and making them competent to take charge as field and
panel operator.
• Coordinator of CDU for Integrated Management System (IMS) and Energy Management system
( EnMS).
• Team member of Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) in implementation of Process Safety Management
(PSM).
